WOOD SPECIES

Because we build completely custom cabinetry, almost any wood species choice is available. However, not every wood species will be priced to fit within the average budget. The most common types of wood chosen are RED OAK, WHITE OAK, BIRCH, ALDER, HARD MAPLE, HICKORY, and CHERRY. Some other choices include BEECH, PINE, ASH, LYPTUS, ELM, MAHOGANY, WALNUT, DOUGLAS FIR, BAMBOO, and BUTTERNUT. When choosing the wood for your cabinetry, you should be aware of the natural photosensitive darkening of Cherry, Lyptus, and some of the softer wood species.
